Lara Everly
{Director, Co-Producer, Screen Adaptation}

Lara Everly is an actress making her directorial film debut with "Me, You, A Bag & Bamboo". After graduating from Wesleyan University in Connecticut with a B.A. in theater, Lara moved back home to Los Angeles. Some acting highlights include the Jack Black comedy, "Tenacious D: in the Pick of Destiny" and her recurring guest star on “That 70’s Show”. As a graduate of Upright Citizens Brigade, Lara has an affinity for performing in improvised and sketch comedy TV shows—such as "Campus Ladies", the Fox comedy “Free Ride” and the new HBO series “Little Britain USA”. As a director, Lara has trained with Anne Bogart (SITI Company & Columbia University Graduate Directing Program) and Lloyd Richards (Yale University School of Drama). She has directed plays in a range of theaters in the Los Angeles area including the ACME Comedy Theater and Sacred Fools. As an actress, Lara has multiple short films running the film festival circuit winning awards and getting critical acclaim at Sundance, SXSW, Vail, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, Seattle and Berlin. Lara is thrilled to put her directing skills to the silver screen and have her own film run the film festival circuit. As well as an actress, director, writer and producer, Lara is also a harpist, photographer and an avid traveler having visited over 40 countries.

Annika Marks
{Co-Producer, Screen Adaptation}

Annika is an actress with extensive theatre credits both in NYC where she trained at the Circle in the Square Theatre School and in Los Angeles where she now calls home. Her theatre roles include Nina in “The Seagull” on the Circle in the Square Stage and Angel in “The Last Seder” with Ensemble Studio Theatre, LA where she is a member. Her film and TV credits include; Columbia Pictures’ “Mona Lisa Smile” and the pilot “Mama and Son” which she starred in opposite Johnny Williams. She Produced a feature film, “Tocatta and Fugue” in 2007. This project is Annika’s first experience Producing a short.

Padraic Duffy

As a playwright, Padraic has worked at theaters throughout L.A., including A.S.K. Theatre Projects, The Met Theater, the Echo Theater Co., Sacred Fools Theater Co. and Cypress College. His full-length plays include TYM & BRIZZ, THE ILLUSTRIOUS BIRTH OF PADRAIC T. DUFFY, FEET, THE MECHANICAL RABBIT, TELL THE BEES, COPY, SOMETHING IS HIDDEN INSIDE THE COUCH and BEAVERQUEST! THE MUSICAL which premiered at the Sacred Fools Theater in the Summer of 2008. He has served as Literary Assistant at the Center Theatre Group, Literary Associate at the Geffen Playhouse and Co-Artistic Director of The Sacred Fools Theater Company.

Louie Schwartzberg
{Cinematographer}

Louie is an Award winning cinematographer, director, and producer whose notable career spans feature films (including "America's Heart & Soul," released theatrically by Disney) television shows, commercials and documentaries. Louie is the founder of BlackLight Films and has won two Clio Awards for TV advertising, an Emmy nomination for best cinematography, and has been awarded the Heartland Film Festival's Truly Moving Picture Award for "America's Heart & Soul”. Louie produced a series of short films for the launch of Buena Vista Home Entertainment's Blu-Ray DVD releases. Currently, he is in development with National Geographic to produce a 3D IMAX film and in production on a feature length nature documentary with Disney Nature. Louie is a member of the DGA and the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences.

Stephen Chbosky
{Executive Producer}

Stephen Chbosky is an extremely accomplished writer and producer with a career that spans novels, film and television. He is the co-creator, executive producer and writer of the CBS drama Jericho and the writer of the film adaptation of the rock musical "Rent". As an author, Chbosky made a strong literary and social impact with his best-selling novel, The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Chbosky also wrote, directed and starred in the film "The Four Corners of Nowhere" which played the Sundance Film Festival (1995) and was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize. Other executive producing credits include the cult classic film "The Poughkeepsie Tapes" and "Strange Girls". Chbosky's most recent project is writing the screenplay for FOX 2000 Pictures upcoming film, "Daniel Isn't Talking" set to premiere in 2009.

Jason Serfling

Jason began his musical venture at a very young age; Jason's mother would play piano music through headphones while pregnant. Jason began putting chords together at the age of 2 on the handmade upright his mother bought at a garage sale. By the age of five, Jason began playing Beethoven and Mozart by ear. By the age of 10, Jason was composing his own solo piano pieces. This would later lead to his first recording, recorded at Swing Street Studios, Sacramento, California, at the age of 13. Jason went door-to-door selling his first album. By the age of 17, Jason had released Decembers Rain, through Emerald Entertainment. By 19, Jason had established himself as a driving force in the Northern with over 500 solo concerts nation wide under his belt and 7 albums released. By 21, Jason had moved to Switzerland where he began studying at the Conservatory of Lusanne. Jason has preformed, recorded and worked with artists/people such as Spencer Brewer, actor Brian Greenberg, Sergio..........Andres Bull, Judy Mann, Bonny Rait, Bill Botrell, Hale Milgram & Mark Serami. Jason is currently working on his debut piano vocal rock album due out soon.

Alan Bernhoft
{Original Soundtrack}

Alan has over thirty songs in film and television, including the 2008 feature, “Desperately Seeking Paul McCartney” (also produced by Alan) and NBC’s “Party of Five.” He is best known as actor, writer and producer of the multi-award-winning independent feature, “The Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde Rock ‘N Roll Musical.” Alan’s self-produced soundtrack was nominated for the European Fennecus Award, alongside Phil Collins, Carly Simon, Jack Black and Christopher Guest (who won the award for the “A Mighty Wind” soundtrack.) Alan also performs throughout the country as John Lennon in Beatles tribute shows. He currently lives in Pasadena with his very hot wife, Marnie, and two little girls, Alanna and Melody.

Jonathan Kidder
{Art Director}

Jonathan Kidder's art direction can be seen in the photography book, Faces of Sunset Boulevard, a Portrait of Los Angeles coming out fall of 2008 through Santa Monica Press. He is also a puppeteer and puppet builder. He has worked with Disney, the Jim Henson Company, and has his own home grown puppet company, KidderCo. He has created and performed puppets for music videos, plays, and award winning DVD for Children, All in the Mustard Tree. Jonathan sings, acts, does voice-overs, and can wiggle his ears.

Michael Escobedo
{Editor}

Michael Escobedo began his film making journey in 2001 by writing/directing and producing his first feature; the digital low-budget film 'When Darkness Falls on Summer's End'. Michael went from there to the short film 'Through The Window' which landed him a directing gig at a small prod-co for a million dollar feature. He then developed a few horror feature scripts which bounced around at a few production companies. Michael edited the low-budget features 'Bit Parts' as well as documentaries for Juris Productions and this year co-founded the production company Nom De Plume Films which owns the rights to a dozen feature projects in various genres and is currently directing, producing and editing Nom De Plume's first feature film this fall; the psychological thriller 'Dark Woods' starring Tracy Coogan and James Russo.
